Customer Information
Warranty
Your equipment is covered by the applicable manufacturer’s warranty. Here is how that works.
Manufacturer warranty
Mower Outlet is an authorized reseller for the brands offered on this website. Equipment purchased from us is covered by the applicable manufacturer’s warranty for that brand and model.
Mower Outlet does not issue its own separate retailer warranty. Warranty coverage, duration and conditions are set by the manufacturer, and they vary by brand, by product line and by model. The manufacturer’s warranty document that applies to your product governs — not any summary on this page.
Reviewing warranty terms before you buy
The written warranty terms for a product are available before purchase. You can review the manufacturer’s warranty documentation for the specific product you are considering, or contact us and we will point you to the correct warranty document for that model before you order.
Setup, registration and assembly requirements
Professional assembly through Mower Outlet is optional. However, some manufacturers require dealer setup, product registration or professional assembly as a condition of warranty eligibility.
Where a manufacturer imposes such a requirement, that manufacturer’s requirement applies to your product. Please review the warranty information for your specific model before deciding whether to have the machine professionally assembled, or contact us and we will help you check.
Making a warranty claim
- Warranty service is provided under the manufacturer’s program and its authorized service network.
- Contact Mower Outlet with your order number and a description of the issue, and we will help you work through the manufacturer’s claim process.
- Keep your proof of purchase. Manufacturers generally require it to validate coverage.
- If your manufacturer requires product registration, complete it promptly after delivery.
What a manufacturer warranty typically does not cover
Exclusions are defined by each manufacturer and differ between brands. Consult your product’s warranty document for the terms that apply. Coverage commonly does not extend to normal wear items, routine maintenance, damage from misuse or neglect, or unauthorized modification. This paragraph is general guidance, not a statement of your product’s actual terms.
Freight damage is not a warranty issue
Damage that occurs in transit is handled as a freight claim, not a warranty claim, and it depends on the delivery receipt being annotated at delivery. See our shipping & delivery page.
Your legal rights
Nothing in this page limits rights you may have under applicable state or federal law, including the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act.
